Ajit Singh gets Civil Aviation

Ajit Singh Rashtriya Lok Dal leader know has Civil Aviation Ministry in has hands after his party joined UPA.

Ajit singh is Jat leader of Western U.P and is son of former prime-minister Charan Singh. He is known to be a Cabinet Minister irrespective of ruling party, he always suceeded in joining ruling parties and fetched ministry every time. 

With the five-member RLD joining the UPA, its strength in the 545-strong Lok Sabha has gone up from 272 to 277.

After the swearing-in, Singh told reporters his alliance with the Congress has provided a clear alternative to the people of UP against the Mayawati-led BSP government. "Our mind is now on UP. Its people are feeling oppressed by the Mayawati government, but now have an alternative," he said.

He added that the wave generated in UP because of the Congress-RLD alliance will be felt across the country.
